Welcome to the Harrietville Hotel. A bit about us you ask?

We, Ross & Dianne Larard moved to Harrietville from Western Australia in 2019. Two of our kids, influenced our decision to make the move after they fell in love with the region while working at Mt Hotham. We purchased the pub in December 2019 with great ideas in mind. Soon after the move we were hit with the bush fires throughout the Alpine Region, then we rolled straight into the COVID Pandemic. A tough start, being closed more than we were open, was made easier with the help of our newfound community supporting our business.

We are a family friendly, resort-style property located in the one-of-a-kind mountain village of Harrietville. Situated at the base of Mt Hotham, and only 25kms from Bright, a thriving regional town. Our property boasts 24 rooms, a relaxing pool area with direct bar access, dining with a changing seasonal menu producing food with raging reviews, a spacious bar and beer garden with indoor and outdoor fireplaces and event stages for live music.

We, along with our enthusiastic and friendly staff are dedicated in providing a first-class service experience during your stay with us.
